How to Shape Your Eyebrows
First and foremost you want to make sure you are using great tweezers so you don’t get any ingrown hairs! You also want to make sure your skin is prepped and soft. I typically tweeze my brows right after I get out of the shower because your pores are open and it hurts a lot less. I was taught the pencil rule when it comes to shaping eyebrows. If you take a look at the picture above and hold a pencil up to your eye then you see the line from the edge of your nose to the inside end of your brow(A Line). You do not want to tweeze anything from that area! I have seen girls tweeze or shave this and it will totally throw your facial symmetry off. If you have a uni-brow or random hairs that are in the middle then I would suggest waxing that part or getting it threaded so it can be a clean line.
Next the B Line goes from that same spot outside your nose to the end/outside of your brow. It should get thinner at the edge and you want your brow to be as long as possible. Make sure you aren’t tweezing length off the edge… just width.
The C line is most important because it is where your arch is which gives you your shape. There is a natural arch in every eye brow and you want to highlight that in the right way. A good rule of thumb is to go from either your pupil or the outside of the colored part of your eye. You can start tweezing there to give the arch definition.
Again, don’t make them too thin! My favorite way of getting my eyebrows shaped is threading. But it can get expensive so to upkeep I tweeze in between visits. This is a great guide to follow!
